*but not that kind of queenpin
A queenpin is a woman essential to an organization's success. So yeah, that label fits me at home and in the office. I run a successful real estate firm and I've fought for cannabis legalization and other personal rights for over a decade.
I've been called the queen of cannabis by many and although I'd be proud to wear the crown, it doesn't fit me. The truth is I am a real estate developer with a side hustle fighting corruption of all types. I've sued cities multiple times (and won!). I'm tenacious as a mother. I grew up without a lot of resources but I inherited a love of hard work and a willingness to fight for what's right. I believe it's my responsibility as a woman to fight corruption so future underdogs have a chance.
So yes, I am a queenpin of sorts. I run my own firm, mentor young professionals, volunteer, support early childhood and environmental causes, and at the end of the day, I'm a mom of 5 who packs helluva lunch.
